Several new members joined our team this year. One of them is Dr. Pavol Melicher, who joined us as a postdoctoral fellow. Pavol studies the regulation of antioxidant enzymes and their functions in plant responses to various environmental conditions, especially to the spectral properties of light, and also studies ROS-dependent growth regulation mechanisms in plant responses to abiotic stress.
