Physics in the main role (main researcher Doc. PaedDr. Jana Škrabánková, Ph.D. from the Department of Physics) is a project that aims to deepen the interest in physics among talented secondary school students. In biophysics, we offered a total of five activities – (i) an introductory lecture containing the research topics of our group, (ii) separation methods, (iii) photosynthesis, (iv) secondary metabolites, (v) optical spectroscopy, which took place from June to September.
Students who completed these activities gained new experience, especially regarding the application of physical knowledge and also work in the laboratory. We believe that these activities were beneficial for them and that their study paths will lead to physics.
